CAAP is the entry-level programme for learners who need to understand and apply Agentic AI without being expected to engineer complex production systems. It focuses on practical literacy, prompt and context design, task decomposition, safe tool use and evaluation of agent outputs.

Each week combines concepts with guided practice and produces a piece of evidence that counts towards your certification.

Learning outcomes

On completing CAAP, you will be able to:

Distinguish AI assistants, generative AI applications and agentic workflows.
Write clear task instructions and provide appropriate context and constraints.
Break a task into steps and identify when tools, retrieval or human review are needed.
Check factuality, completeness, bias, privacy and other risks in AI outputs.
Build a simple personal or research assistant workflow using approved tools.
Document a use case and explain its benefits, limitations and safe operating boundaries.

Demonstrate a responsible agent workflow

In the final week you design, demonstrate and reflect on a small agent workflow of your own, choosing from options such as:

Personal productivity assistant with clear task boundaries.
Research analyst workflow that summarises supplied sources and flags unsupported claims.
Customer enquiry triage assistant using a small approved knowledge base.
Learning companion that generates practice questions and provides answer explanations for learner review.

What we expect from learners

Attend scheduled learning sessions and complete the required practical work.
Use only authorised tools, datasets and accounts; do not upload confidential or personal data to unapproved services.
Document assumptions, sources, test results, limitations and human approval points.
Disclose AI assistance in submitted work where required and ensure that final submissions demonstrate your own understanding.
