Teaching Agentic AI? The FDP — The Agentic Enterprise Revolution — is a parallel faculty enablement programme. It is not a prerequisite for the four certifications, and faculty participation does not automatically confer CAAP, CAAD, CAAA or CCAO certification; each credential requires its own assessment.

Learning approach

Practice-first and responsible by design

Every IDTE programme shares the same learning principles and delivery standards.

Outcome-led

Each module produces a demonstrable artefact, decision, workflow, architecture component or teaching resource.

Practice-first

Guided labs, case discussions, design studios and capstone work complement conceptual instruction.

Human-accountable autonomy

Agent systems are designed with permissions, review gates, escalation paths and auditability.

Responsible by design

Privacy, security, safety, governance, evaluation and operational controls are embedded throughout.

Industry-aware

Examples adapt to education, healthcare, manufacturing, cybersecurity, BFSI, retail, government and smart cities.

How programmes are delivered

  • Instructor-led sessions, demonstrations and structured discussions.
  • Hands-on labs using approved AI tools, sandboxes, sample datasets and controlled environments.
  • Team exercises and case studies based on realistic business or institutional needs.
  • Capstone reviews, peer feedback, presentations and individual reflection.
  • Hybrid, online live or on-campus delivery, subject to the programme and batch plan.

What we expect from learners

  • Attend scheduled learning sessions and complete the required practical work.
  • Use only authorised tools, datasets and accounts; do not upload confidential or personal data to unapproved services.
  • Document assumptions, sources, test results, limitations and human approval points.
  • Disclose AI assistance in submitted work where required and ensure that final submissions demonstrate your own understanding.
Institutions & corporates

Cohorts for colleges, companies and leadership teams

Run any IDTE programme as a dedicated cohort — on-campus, online live or hybrid.

Open enrolment cohorts

Published schedules and defined prerequisites.

Institutional cohorts

Customised for universities, engineering colleges and management schools.

Corporate cohorts

Aligned to an organisation's use cases, data policies and operating environment.

Executive cohorts

For leadership teams, with confidential case discussions and organisation-specific capstones.

Train-the-faculty

Faculty development delivery for institutions building internal teaching capacity.

How a cohort comes together

  1. DiscoveryDefine learner profile, target outcomes, baseline capability and use-case context.
  2. Cohort designConfirm course, calendar, delivery mode, prerequisites, tools and lab access.
  3. ReadinessShare pre-reading, acceptable-use rules, technical setup and a baseline assessment.
  4. DeliveryTeach, demonstrate, facilitate labs, coach teams and record learner evidence.
  5. AssessmentApply published rubrics, moderation and reassessment rules.
  6. CertificationVerify completion requirements, issue credentials and retain appropriate records.
  7. Follow-throughCollect feedback, track project adoption and offer advanced learning pathways.

Quality & assessment

Credentials earned with evidence, not attendance

Capstones, architecture defences and executive presentations are reviewed across the same seven dimensions.

Problem framing

Clear user, problem, constraints, baseline and measurable success criteria.

Technical / conceptual correctness

Appropriate choice of agent pattern, tools, data and workflow.

Reliability and evaluation

Relevant test cases, failure analysis, source checking and measurable quality.

Security and privacy

Least privilege, approved data, threat awareness and suitable safeguards.

Human accountability

Clear approval gates, escalation paths and responsibility for final decisions.

Communication

Readable documentation, reproducible demonstration and candid explanation of limitations.

Value and feasibility

Realistic effort, costs, adoption needs, operational dependencies and expected benefit.

Programme quality controls

  • Learning outcomes, module plans, prerequisites, fee, schedule, assessment criteria and completion rules are published before enrolment.
  • Common rubrics and calibrated reviewers for capstones and architecture / executive defences.
  • Records of attendance, assessment evidence, feedback, credential issuance and appeals kept in line with privacy and retention requirements.
  • Course content reviewed periodically as agent frameworks, model capabilities, security practices and regulation evolve.
  • Labs use synthetic, public or explicitly authorised data — never unauthorised confidential, personal or regulated information.
  • Learners document limitations and human oversight, especially for high-impact use cases.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Which programme should I start with?
Start with CAAP to build agent literacy, CAAD to build working agent applications, CAAA to design enterprise agentic systems, or CCAO to lead adoption across an organisation. Educators who want to teach Agentic AI should start with the FDP.
Do I need the FDP before the certifications?
No. The FDP is a parallel faculty enablement programme. It is not a prerequisite for CAAP, CAAD, CAAA or CCAO, and it does not automatically confer those certifications.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not for CAAP or CCAO. CAAD strongly recommends basic programming knowledge, and CAAA recommends professional software or solution design experience (or CAAD-level work).
How are certifications awarded?
Each credential requires its own assessment — practical work, capstones and, at higher levels, architecture or executive defences. Attendance alone does not determine certification.
Are the fees final?
Fees and durations are indicative. Batch calendars, tax treatment, delivery mode, prerequisites and certification rules are confirmed in the official enrolment terms before payment.
Can our institution or company run its own cohort?
Yes — institutional, corporate and executive cohorts, as well as train-the-faculty delivery. Choose "Plan an institutional or corporate cohort" in the enquiry form.
